Prop 47 and Decriminalization of Recreational Marijuana

Drugs are categorized by schedules in the eyes of the law, depending on the legality of the schedule you are being punished for the penalties can be more severe, or even less severe. Schedules are also a federal statute, many states have sought to amend; California being one such state.
